This webinar series has purposefully been designed for leaders who have busy schedules and find it hard to stop and engage in leadership learning.
I have been a teacher/principal for over 40 years, and along the way have gathered experiences, knowledge, understandings, practices and anecdotes. For some time, I have been eager to share these with aspiring principals to support their principalship journey.
In this series of webinars, I share my experiences and understandings in a way that will support aspirant principals to realise that aspiration and establish a footing for a successful principalship.
In 2021, I was awarded a Doctor of Education, conferred following the submission and assessment of my thesis: Leading large, P-12, autonomous, independent schools: An Australian case study. The study examined what is required for principals to be effective, and its findings have far-reaching implications for principal preparation.
Aspirant principals who might have roles such as deputy principal, assistant principal, heads of sub-school and campus, directors of teaching & learning, curriculum, people & culture, wellbeing, boarding, and executive leaders in schools.
So you want to be a principal – from ideation to success. In this series of webinars, I will discuss the challenges, complexity, opportunity and rewards of principalship by providing insights and reflections to help you turn your aspirations into reality.
The bite-sized learnings are offered every three weeks by Zoom, making this program accessible. Each webinar will involve pre-and post-webinar activity.
